The PTP Programme in the East of England
Working in Partnership
The 'Profit Through Productivity' programme has been developed by The Best Practice Forum, a strategic alliance of tourism, hospitality and leisure trade associations, led by the British Hospitality Association.
The Forum was set up in 2001, with backing from Government, and works directly with employers to improve profitability, productivity and competitiveness in the tourism, hospitality and leisure sector. The Forum's work is managed by Hospitality and Leisure Manpower and is subsidised by funding received from the public and private sectors.
The Forum is pleased to be working with the Learning and Skills Council, which is providing a subsidy for eligible businesses in the East of England to take part in, and benefit from, the 'Profit Through Productivity' programme.
The Best Practice Forum members, shown below, are key partners in 'Profit Through Productivity' and promote the programme to their membership in the East of England:
British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions

Membership is made up of the owners and managers of park home estates, touring and tenting parks, caravan holiday home parks, chalet parks and all types of self-catering accommodation.
British Hospitality Association
The BHA is the national trade association for the hospitality industry, representing over 9,000 hotels, 11,000 restaurants and 19,000 contract catering units. Its primary role is to lobby Government across the UK and Europe, representing the views of the industry.
