The Profit Through Productivity 3-Stage Programme
The 3-Stage PTP Programme gives you, as owners and managers, the opportunity to ‘measure up’ your business performance against best practice, take advantage of the wide range of business development options available to you to become more competitive and profitable.
Stage 1: Getting Started
- Attend our introductory 'Measuring Up' seminar – on best practice, benchmarking and business planning.
- Meet with an independent and accredited Business Coach who has a strong, successful background in the sector – a hospitality, tourism and leisure specialist.
- Analyse the strengths and weaknesses of your business.
- Confidentially Benchmark Your Current Business Performance.
- Develop an Action Plan and agree priorities with your Business Coach.
Stage 2: Improve Your Business Performance
- Work with your Business Coach on your priorities for action, e.g. improving productivity, team development, sales and marketing, growing the business.
- Attend our Best Practice Workshops – on topics such as ‘Direct and E-Marketing’, ‘Boosting Sales and Productivity’ and 'Making the Media Work'.
- Find out at first hand what another business does to implement best practice – by taking part in our Best Practice Visits.
- All our events are run by hospitality, tourism and leisure sector specialists.
Stage 3: Recognise Your Achievements
- Complete work with your Business Coach and review progress with your Action Plan.
- Become accredited as an Excellence Through People employer. Qualify for 'free of charge' specialist advice and an on-site assessment in the first year – available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Attend our 'Continuous Improvement and Innovation' workshop – hear about the latest industry developments.
- Free entry into the national Business Excellence Awards scheme.
