Working in Partnership
The Profit Through Productivity programme has been developed by The Best Practice Forum, a strategic alliance of tourism, hospitality and leisure trade associations, led by the British Hospitality Association.
The Forum was set up in 2001, with backing from Government, and works directly with employers to improve profitability, productivity and competitiveness in the tourism, hospitality and leisure sector. The Forum's work is managed by Hospitality and Leisure Manpower and is subsidised by funding received from the public and private sectors.
The Forum is pleased to be working with One NorthEast, the Regional Development Agency for North East England, which is providing the financial subsidy for eligible businesses in the region to take part in, and benefit from, the Profit Through Productivity programme. The programme is also part financed by the European Social Fund.
In addition, the four Area Tourism Partnerships in the North East are playing a key role in the promotion of Profit Through Productivity to tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses across the region.
The Best Practice Forum members, shown below, are key partners in Profit Through Productivity and promote the programme to their membership in the North East of England:
